Headline: South Dakota county gets SUV it can't use unless terrorists
hit.

Excerpts: A new, white $26,000 Dodge Durango sits in a Hamlin County, S.D. Highway Department shop, waiting for
terrorists.
Taxpayers paid for the sport utility vehicle, which was purchased with a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland
Security.

But unless terrorists strike, the SUV can't be used, the sheriff was told.

"I was told I was not to be driving that vehicle unless it was responding to a terrorist attack," said Hamlin County Sheriff
Dan Mack.
